Our Story
Tiare Hawaii was founded in Hawaii in 2009 by Jane Hoskins. Inspired by a love of travel and immersive experience, it's become a global beachwear brand leading the independent category.
We use the beauty of nature around us and our love of travel as inspiration to create the colors and bohemian details in our garments. All of our pieces are handmade using traditional dyeing techniques that have been used for centuries.
It's our mission to bring you a piece of paradise Anywhere You Dream.
How It's Made
Each Tiare Hawaii design starts with passion. Passion for Hawaii, passion for materials, passion for adventure, and the drive to make pieces you’ll love forever. So how does a dramatic sunset or vivid travel memory become a Tiare Hawaii staple?
Let’s take a look into our process to create paradise…
Step 1: Inspiration Is Around Us All
Our prints are personal. Whether it’s the shores of the island we call home or the hibiscus gardens of Waimea, we look to natural beauty to guide our designs. From there, it’s all about the details that bring personality and individuality to each design.
Step 2: Sketch Time

Not only are Tiare Hawaii pieces printed, dyed, and constructed by hand, we often draw our patterns by hand to add a pop of personality and uniqueness. We work with graphic designers to refind each print, playing with color, shape, and scale to find the right match for each piece.
Step 3: From the Screen to the Dream
Once our design is finalized, it’s ready to print and, like our initial drawings, we bring that personal design ethos and principle into producing our patterns. That means we’re committed to producing handmade pieces made with love using traditional techniques by local artisans.
Step 4: Capture the Moment
Once we receive and approve our latest designs it’s time to bring them to life. There’s no better way to highlight the dreamlike wonder, individuality, and vibes of a new design than to work with models that embody the Aloha Spirit. We look for unique destinations on our personal bucket lists to not only let our pieces shine but inspire your wanderlust.
Step 5: Time To Shine
The final step in bringing these pieces of paradise to market is shooting all their vivid color, delicate details, and breathtaking movement in the studio. Like a painting in an art gallery, we want our product images to showcase the artistry and imagination of every design.

The best part of putting our passions into prints, dyes, and designs is seeing where they take you. From seeing our pieces captured on your travels or brightening up your day-to-day, we’re moved to push our island-inspired styles even further. Jane, Owner/Designer
My job is to create unique clothing that you'll love and that can take you anywhere you go. I am based in Hawaii and have a passion for art, travel, culture, and music. In my spare time, you can typically find me in the ocean, listening to live music, or travelling the world sourcing the next big thing for Tiare Hawaii.
Eloise, Wholesale Client Relationship Coordinator
Growing up on the beaches of Australia, I have always loved free-spirited bohemian design and coastal colors. It is so wonderful to be part of the Tiare Hawaii family and get to help boutiques choose stunning collections and styles for their customers.
Kelly, E-Commerce Customer Service/Sales Manager
My job is to make sure all of our amazing customers have the best experience they can with our brand. I love styling our photoshoots for new collections and being able to merchandize our products on the website in a way that is the most visually appealing to our shoppers. There is nothing better than helping someone find the piece that makes her feel the most beautiful!

In my free time I love spending time with my husband, 3 year old daughter, and four fur babies, going to hot yoga, and reading good books.

I have a kitty named Dolce who loves getting spoiled by mom! We can be found together 24/7.

I love coming to work with my Mom everyday because the office is full of snacks and other doggo friends...I even have my own work station! I always make sure to make an appearance during our Marketing Meetings so I can say hi to my 4 legged coworkers in Hawaii.

My job is placing a ball in my coworker's laps until they play with me! I love, sticks, balls, tug o war! I'm an energetic and vocal pup who lets you know when I wants to play (which is all the time) and I tend to be more interested in people and their ability to play tug o war than my four-legged friends. I'll do anything for treats and I can be a real cuddle bug when it is time for bed.
